Hi ho, hi ho, its Geocaching we go...

While we were in Utah with my brother we were introduced to Geo caching. Click here for the Geo cache web site to learn more. Basically people all over the world hide whats called a cache. Then they post on the geo cache website with the g.p.s coordinates. You search your zip code and it will show you a map of where the caches are hidden. You then take those coordinates put them in your g.p.s. and take your kids along for a fun treasure hunt. We had a blast. We found the one hidden in a park near my brothers house and for the rest of the trip we searched for caches. Rick bought himself a hand held g.p.s and now my family is having the best time. Some of the caches (pronounced cash) are take and leave. Like take something from the find and leave something of yours. Their are book caches, logo t-shirt caches, and even a 80's tape cache in Omaha. You should check it out! Here are some pictures of our First adventure.

My brother carried Carter on his back because I hurt my shoulder and Rick was sick.

Here is Landon and Slade, best buddies.
Hiking down the hill in search of our treasure.
Here are all the kids and Rick after we found the cache.
Ian was so excited to catch the treasure.

Thanks Jeff for the intro to a new obsession.
