Vacation 2008 part 2- Layton

Our second week of vacation we spent in Layton with Ricks Parents. We had a great time just hanging out while Rick helped his parents get more settled in their house. He fixed and replaced a toilet, fixed the dryer, helped them buy a new washer and dryer, and helped them pick up a new mattress. He also took the boys to laser tag, a couple movies, and of course geocacheing. I have gotten to know the area a little so now I can drive to Kohls, Target, the church bookstore, and of course Walmart. Here are a few pictures of the time we spent there.

Here is Carter enjoying the new rocking chairs.

We had a short visit with our niece Brandy who is getting married in the Salt Lake Temple the end of September. We wish we could be their!

Here is Ricks sister Wendy holding her grand baby Cambria and next to her is Jeni our nephews wife holding Carter. We fell in love with both Jeni and Cam. Good Pick Christian!

We had a picnic with Ricks sisters family and Carter LOVED to eat the Watermelon down to the rind.

Here is our boys with our Nephews playing Wii. My older boys were in heaven to be able to hang out with the big boys. I don't think the big boys know how much my boys like them!

Okay so not the greatest picture of Hailey but here she is trying to keep Carter from pulling Cams hair.
Here is a cute video of Hailey's husband Eric playing ball with Carter. It was so sweet watching him with the boys, he really played great with them.
I love how Eric tells him to look for the ball by his foot and Carter sits down and looks under his feet for the ball. Too cute! Thanks Eric!

you're too funny! Yes he is...he went last year as well. He qualified for the early education program through Elkhorn Public Schools. We love it and I can't wait for it to start again. It's 4 days a week, and my sanity. ;)
